We strive to use the month of October to teach consumers the importance of farmers and and the contributions made to produce safe food to put on their tables, clothes to put on our backs, the oil used to power our cars, and so much more!
Write a Letter
Use our template and write a letter to a farmer and let them know what you are thankful for! Need help getting your letter to a farmer? No problem! Contact our AITC coordinator, Kathleen Agney, or bring your letter by the Farm Bureau office and we will mail it to a farmer in Shelby County!

Color a Picture
Want to say thanks in a creative way? Color a picture using our templates or design your own! You can arrange for Mrs. Agney to pick up your drawing(s) from a school in Shelby County, drop it off at the Farm Bureau office or email it to shelbyaged@outlook.com! We will be distributing these to Shelby County farmers!
Volunteer
What to show your gratitude? Volunteer with Shelby County Farm Bureau to help educate consumers about the food and products farmers produce. Not sure you have the right skills? No need to worry, we will be with you every step of the way!
Coloring Page Templates
Choose a coloring page or letter format, download the image, print it out and color! We would love to share your students and children's artwork with farmers across Shelby County! National Thank-A-Farmer day is October 12, 2021 and we will be showing our appreciation for Shelby County farmers by sending letters and pictures to those who are growing our food! Bring your coloring pages to Shelby County Farm Bureau at 1361 State Highway 128, Shelbyville or make arrangements with Mrs. Agney at shelbyaged@outlook.com to pick up coloring pages and letters. We can't wait to share your gratitude with local farmers!
